I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Casina Colorata during my city break in Assisi, and it was simply delightful! The location is fantastic - just a short stroll to both the Basilica di San Francesco and the Basilica of Saint Clare, making it perfect for exploring the town's rich history. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, equipped with thoughtful amenities like a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. I also loved the shared lounge; it provided a cozy space to unwind after a chilly day, especially with its charming décor reflecting the ancient and modern vibes of Assisi. Our fabulous host, Beatrice, truly made our stay special. She was more like a friend than just an owner, offering great tips on local restaurants and even securing us an extra night at short notice. I can't recommend La Casina Colorata enough - it's definitely a gem for anyone looking for comfort and warmth in a beautiful setting. I can't wait to return with friends for another adventure!
